Food was available – BBQ, snacks, hot and cold nibbles to help the drinks go down Local bands and musicians played all afternoon and evening, the headline bands being listed on the website at www.rossbeerfest.org and in the festival guide A ticket for a day cost just £5 each which not only provided entry but also a free beer glass and festival guide. The weather was great for most of the time, but we never trust it so there was cover for all areas. Sessions ran from 12 noon – 11pm on Saturday and 12 noon – 10pm on Sunday. Tickets will be available in advance on-line at www.rossbeerfest.org or from other outlets including Miles Morgan Travel in the centre of Ross-on-Wye The “Rossbeerfest” is a Charity event, organised jointly by Ross on Wye Lions and Rotary Clubs. Volunteers are always welcome, so if you are able to help please print a Volunteer Form and return your completed form via email to either info@rossrotary.com or info@rossonwyelions.org.uk We have one challenge to beat – in previous years visitors came from Gloucester, Cardiff, Essex and as far away as Australia so we wonder how far will people come to visit the next Rossbeerfest? To find out more keep an eye out for adverts in the Ross Gazette, check us out on social media web-site at Rossbeerfest Facebook, or follow us on Twitter @Rossbeerfest Why not have a look at previous festivals in 2017 or 2016, enjoy!
